Gainstation 2 Boost

Developed in collaboration with Studio DMI and illustrious music producer Mike Dean (Kanye West, 2Pac, Scarface, Travis Scott, 2 Chainz, Jay-Z, Drake) Gainstation 2 Boost is the simplified version of Mike Dean’s Gainstation 2, the next-generation plugin for distortion and creative sound mangling. Don’t be fooled by its appearance — this bad boy punches way above its weight.

Gainstation 2 Boost is your one-knob-shop for distortion and saturation. It

features only two controls for a hyper-fast workflow and clear, immediate punch that Mike Dean would be proud of.

The Boost knob lets you vary the amount of EQ applied in real time: fixed at 60Hz for the low end and 10kHz for the high end, up to approximately +16dB of gain for the low band, and +11dB for the high band while increasing harmonic distortion.

The simple and effective EQ Boost switch control lets you choose between pre- or post-clipping equalization.

We took Gainstation 2 Boost to a whole new level by adding powerful additional features to improve performance and sound quality:

1. Oversampling buttons allow you to change the oversampling-rate (1x, 2x, 4x, 8x, or 16x) to improve the processing quality.
2. Upgrade to Core 17.
3. Various plugin optimizations and graphic improvements.
