Fire The Dither
Fire The Dither is part our renowned Fire series, designed for audio professionals seeking precision in dithering and bit depth conversion. This plugin streamlines the dithering process, making it accessible for mastering engineers and producers alike. Whether you're preparing tracks for high-quality streaming, CDs, or high-resolution audio formats, Fire The Dither ensures transparent and efficient conversion without compromising audio integrity. Available in VST, VST3, AAX, and AU formats.

In addition to intuitive Input and Output gain controls, real-time waveform visualization, and comprehensive ceiling modes, Fire The Dither offers advanced dithering modes, bit depth modes, and several listening modes for detailed audio monitoring. These features ensure that your audio remains balanced and distortion-free, even when downsampling to lower bit depths.

Fire The Dither: A Multifunctional Tool

Fire The Dither is much more than a simple dithering plugin—it’s a comprehensive tool that integrates multiple essential functions into one streamlined workflow. While dithering remains at its core, Fire The Dither also includes advanced True Peak processing inspired by the renowned Lace plugin, giving users precise control over their final audio output.

Unlike standard dithering tools that only focus on bit depth conversion, Fire The Dither integrates a True Peak limiting stage, ensuring that transients are preserved and low frequencies remain intact, delivering a punchy and natural sound. This approach prevents unwanted distortion or clipping during the downsampling process, especially when dealing with inter-sample peaks.
