Ch3rry Equalizer is the lightest EQ ever created by Acustica, based on two sampled devices and built on the 'Hyper' engine, offering an unprecedented experience that is both ultra-lightweight and supremely powerful. Designed with speed, precision, and performance in mind, CHERRY is poised to redefine the very essence of your audio mastering.

“Less but better. Back to purity, back to simplicity.” - Dieter Rams

The vision was clear from the start - to craft an equalizer that stood out from the crowd, not just in
terms of sound quality but also in its design and user experience. We wanted CH3RRY Equalizer to be an embodiment of simplicity and elegance, offering you an interface that is visually appealing yet incredibly intuitive to use. In our pursuit of simplicity, we faced challenges that demanded creativity and
ingenuity. We carefully curated each control, ensuring that only the most essential elements were
included, giving you the tools needed, without superfluous options.

The Ch3rry EQ is the epitome of transparency, providing an incredibly smooth and seamless sound.

Ch3rry's savoir-faire lies in its perfect curves, meticulously crafted with high definition in low frequencies, bringing them closer to the authentic hardware experience. Its low-end definition is second to none, granting your audio signal a new level of depth and clarity with natural warmth and presence.

Hyper3 technology is a groundbreaking advancement in the world of Acustica equalization. It brings forth a new era of sonic perfection, offering astonishing results that surpass traditional methods and unlock new levels of quality and efficiency. At its core, a Hyper3 equalizer is a sampled equalizer that utilizes convolutions using a series of mathematical tricks.

It combines both IIR (Infinite Impulse Response) and FIR (Finite Impulse Response) to handle the impulses’ tail with IIR and keeps the significant section in FIR mode. This approach overcomes computational limitations, allowing for exceptionally long FIR lengths that were previously unattainable.

We ensure that the transient, which is the most audible part of the IR (Impulse Response), remains completely identical to the FIR version, and the reconstruction of this IR through the IIR does not change in any way.
Instead, we now add a part of the IR through IIR that was not handled correctly by the FIR approach.

This improvement enhances the response at lower frequencies and the result is a harmonious blend of the advantages of both methods, delivering superior audio quality across the frequency spectrum.

With Hyper3 equalizers, high frequencies remain identical to the original machine, while low frequencies are significantly improved, offering a level of sound quality that is indistinguishable from the reference analog equalizer. Notably, fewer artifacts, such as ripple, are present, resulting in a more authentic and natural sound.

• The first 'Hyper' mastering EQ
• The lightest around, extremely fast
• Four equalization modes
• Ultra-transparent and smooth
• Magical on the low frequencies
• Two different GUIs to choose from ('Cherry' and 'Cherry Flat')

Starting from CH3RRY - release A031 and CHERRY-(TRIAL) - release A007, the Cherry plugin has become a plugin suite consisting of:

Ch3rry / Ch3rry Flat and Cherry Flat Mini (a compact version of Cherry Flat).
