Ceil. British character on steroids.
Ceil is based on a heavily modified British channel strip that we sampled at the end of 2017 during one of our official workshops - held at a studio near the lake of Como. It features a powerful compressor - which can work as a general audio leveler or a full-blown dynamics destroyer - an incisive EQ section, pan, stereo spread controls, and a preamp. Ceil shines on vocals, electric bass, percussions, drums, and much more. If transparency is what you're after, look elsewhere. But if the full-on attitude of this channel-strip is what you need, Ceil might just be the perfect tool for your next Rock, Punk, or Metal mix. And beyond.
Ceil is as easy to use as it is powerful. The compressor section is designed to provide subtle dynamic control or to be pushed hard into transient-mangle ville, effectively bringing up the perceived loudness of a source, the ambiance of a recorded drum room or to reign in the stray dynamics of a bass guitar. With the addition of Spread and Pan, for seamless positioning of a source in a stereo mix, and a basic, yet very effective EQ section, you can shape your tracks - or even subgroups - fast and easy, exploiting the sonic DNA of one of the most famous modern studio channel-strips.
Plus, Do not forget to download our nice Xmas 2019 ' Ceilendar' from inside Aquarius as it also includes Ceil's user manual!
