Hi,

No way to run N4 1.4.145 Rel.E here. Always crashing on first run. Tested VST2 and VST3 in Reaper, and AU in Reaper and LogicX.

I've opened a Ticket, hoping to solve it. No idea what's happening.

Also tried what Giancarlo said yesterday, renaming the engine 1414506 to "Nebula3 Reverb", and it works OK as Nebula3. But no way to run it as N4.
Could it be something in the OS side?
Could it be the lack of RAM?

Is someone else running it on OSX Mavericks 10.9.5?
Keep it simple, be happy.

it could be a trouble caused by permission. Meanwhile we are creating new installers for windows

- fix for windows if you are simply going to "upgrade"
- new installing mode where cache second level is disabled (for troubleshooting)

we are also working on installers on mac osx side based on the same concept

I'll wait for this one. Simply upgrade sounds nice :)

can somebody tell me on Mac sierra os, where or which xml file i need to edit to use the 3rd party lib? im using the AU with DP9 daw. Is it the one in the N4 settings folder or the 2 in the components? ( N4 and N4zl) I love this product but these guys are the worst when they give you directions. They seem to think we should all know how to program. OS X:
<ALTERNATIVEDATAPATH> /Users/Shared/Library/AlternativeDataPath/AcusticaAudio/CPCLv5/ </ALTERNATIVEDATAPATH>
this is the tag path i was sent. but which file do i do this to. and im pretty sure i need to empty the cache in the N4 fold after doing this to have it rescan. thanks and any help would help

Macintosh HD > Library > Audio > Plugins > Components > N4.xml

Also, the first post here may help you to understand it better: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=29788

Setup N4 1.0.012.0 Rel F for Windows only is in download section.

This version will fix several issues reported related with second and third cache level, and Finder.

We are working in detailed installation guide, but is not ready yet, if you are not secure about how to use this new setup installer, DON'T USE IT. Detailed installation guide will be ready soon as possible.

We will try to upload a Setup N4 1.0.012.0 Rel F for OSX soon, but can be intermediately.

On third run, I removed AUT and SER files (just in case, forcing N4 to generate SER again)

so,

Third run, third crash.

What exactly i've paid for?

Behaviour replicated. OSX is stopping application due a permission violation.

I was able to fix it in 10 second by adding problematic OSX user account (standard user) into Read and Write permission for Temp folder.

That didn't work for me.
