Hi,

there was an update on the 23. september for the coolteq. What was this update abaout?

Btw. it sounds amazing on the bassdrum. And a question: could i use the left two buttons also alone? it seems if they are "taped" together...

And while i change the narrow for example, the whole units turns off and on... why does it do that? Is it normal?

You can turn the low end boost and cut on or off independently, but you can not unlink the knobs. This was a hot topic during the beta testing and Acustica decided to keep them linked.

It is Version 1.3.760 and before i had 1.3.725 ... you can find it inside of the dashboard!

Log in in unser account. Then click on forum first and second then onto customer area. Then there are My products and there you have to go to your EQp1... just log into the box and compare the different versions. you will find it!

Any insights into why this decision was made?

...and as a follow up, are there plans to make them independent in a future update?

If I remember correctly, the decision was made because the plugin uses an existing Nebula library inside and not a new sampling, and this is how the original library was set up. One of the beta versions did have the knobs unlinked, in fact. But there were other problems from this and since Acustica was not resampling the hardware, the solution to link them and keep it consistent with the library made sense to them.
Maybe Giancarlo or someone else from Acustica will chime in soon about the potential of future updates including this function, I am not an employee and have very little "insider" info. But from the discussion about it during the beta testing, I do not expect that functionality to change.

There are two version of EQP-1 version one with splitted instances and version two with only one big instance. Customers that bought version one can download and use both. Lasted installers are for version two but you always can manually update to lasted Acqua Engine (current customer version is 1.3.770 ans beta is 1.3.793)

If you need more information, contact me thru a support ticket.
Best regards,
Enrique Silveti.

However:
installed are now Blue EQ 1.3.789 64 Bit and the 1.3.760 EQP1 64 Bit.

I hope these are the newest versions.

P.S.: why not kill the older ones and seperate them also in x86 and x64 folders? Would be much easier to find the correct file...
